1st Reporting Deployment Considerations

The following Checklist can be used to ensure all the major 1st adjustments and integration points have been considered for an initial 1st Reporting deployment: 

Templates

  • Do I have existing Forms I would like to try to replicate in 1st?
  • How many different Templates will I start with?
  • Do I need GPS Location Information for each Template?
  • What Templates and Data Fields will trigger a Notification?
  • Do I require Mandatory Fields in my Templates?
  • Will I need multimedia (pictures, video, audio and attachments) entry for my Templates?
  • Do I need signatures for any of my Templates?
  • Do I need to support On-Going Events such as Storm Response activities?

Users

  • How many Access Rights levels do I need? Administrator, Regional Manager, Supervisor and Field User….
  • Will all Users have access to all Templates?
  • Do I have specific Users I would like to designate as Pilot Testers?
  • Do I need to follow user locations?


Notifications

  • Who will be Notified of an Event (Report Submission, Updates, Incident Status)?
  • Do I need the Notification Recipients to change based on the type of Notification?
  • Do I need reminder Notifications based on a time period?

Reports

  • Do I need to produce specific Activity Reports?
  • Do I want all of my Incidents displayed on the Dashboard and Maps?
  • Do I need to display On-going Event updates in “Real Time”?

Handbook

  • Do I have Instruction Manuals and Reference Material I would like to make available to my Field Users?
  • Do I need to make them aware of and log any new or updated material?

Integration

  • Do I want my organization logo displayed in 1st?
  • Do I want to connect 1st to my HR system for automated personnel updates?
  • Do I have a special map layer I want superimposed on my maps?
