Being a mobile first platform, 1st Incident Reporting was optimized to support offline capabilities on its mobile devices from the start. With new developments in web technologies however, we quickly came to see the benefits of offline mode for the web as well. With our latest web release we now introduce the web based offline capabilities.

How to use the feature?

No configuration required. Once logged in to your account on any major web browser, 1st incident reporting creates a local data sync which is used to communicate with the remote database hosted in the cloud.  In the case of a network outage the user is automatically switched to the local data storage to ensure data consistency.

Why use this feature?

In the case of network outages at the office or home, users can continue to report or modify incidents and inspections and the data will be synced once the network connection is re-established.
